Bertram Yacht's 50th Anniversary

We are approaching Bertram\'s big 50th Anniversary beginning in 2011, in which we will be creating several unforgettable experiences to celebrate the company\'s history and honor its owners and partners from the present and past. We begin our celebratory year at the Miami International Boat Show where we will be collecting stories, photos and taking videos of our Bertram friends to preserve the memories that have made Bertram a legend. Mark your calendars for Friday, February 18th for our first get together at the show. Invitations are on the way!

All your stories and mementos collected by the end of February will be used at our big anniversary celebration, Bertram\'s Blast to the Past, on April 29th and 30th, 2011 at the Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami. Save the date as owners will be invited to bring their Bertram boats for a huge display show with plenty of photo opportunities, awards, dinner and dancing. The Bertram display show in the marina will be from 4-7pm with the evening event scheduled from 8pm-Midnight.

Tickets for the event on April 29, 2011 are $50 in advance and $75 at the door. Only cash and checks will be accepted, no credit cards. If you wish to pay in advance, please send a check made out to Bertram Yacht with Blast to the Past in the memo field to:

Also all owners are encouraged to bring their Bertrams to the event. We have made special dockage arrangments with Sea Isle marina adjancent to the Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel exclusively for Bertram owners. We will have a \'Bimini Start\' on Saturday morning with all Bertrams in attendance, creating what should be the largest gatherings of Bertrams in history.

For those that do participate in the \'Bimini Start\' but are not continuing on to the Bertram-Hatteras Shootout XXXI (click here for info), the Big Game Club in Bimini would like to invite you to their resort. Bertram owners are being offered the following for the Blast to the Past weekend:

- 10% discount off guest room accommodations for the weekend
- 25% discount off dockage for that weekend
- 10% discount on any diving packages or dive trips
- A welcome reception with complimentary rum punch, sodas, conch fritters, and buffalo chicken wings to begin around 1pm on Saturday, April 30th.
